Data, purposes and lawful bases
When you contact us using our form, we process your first and last name, company, email address, country, message and, if provided, telephone number. We use these details to respond to your enquiry and consider a potential professional or commercial relationship. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, where applicable (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
If you choose the separate, optional marketing checkbox, we may email you news, information about our services and events. This processing relies on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time by contacting us.
We process the data needed to protect our forms, prevent misuse and maintain the security of our communications on the basis of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
Fields marked as required are necessary to handle an enquiry using the form. The telephone field and marketing choice are optional. We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Candidates and CVs
Through Careers, we collect the information candidates provide in their profiles and CVs, including professional experience, education, certifications, languages, availability and professional links. We use this information to assess applications and contact candidates about professional collaboration opportunities.
Where there is a specific opportunity or selection process, we process the information necessary to manage the application and assess a potential engagement, relying on steps requested by the candidate prior to entering into a contract, where applicable (Article 6(1)(b)). Retaining a candidate's profile and CV for future searches is a separate, optional purpose, subject to a dedicated, initially unticked consent checkbox (Article 6(1)(a)). Withholding consent does not prevent consideration for a specific opportunity. Consent can be withdrawn by emailing info@reuther.consulting. We do not request special-category personal data in CVs.
We periodically review whether profiles retained in our network with consent remain relevant and necessary. We delete them when they are no longer needed or consent is withdrawn, subject to applicable legal obligations. Without that consent, applications are not retained for future searches after the relevant process has ended, unless another lawful retention ground applies.
Meeting arrangements
To arrange and manage meetings, we process the information you provide when requesting an appointment, including the details needed to contact you and confirm the meeting. The lawful basis is responding to your request and, where relevant, taking pre-contractual steps.
Recipients of personal data
To provide our services, we use providers for hosting, contact and candidate management, communications and security. These providers process the information needed on our behalf and subject to applicable data protection obligations. We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Where services involve transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area, we apply the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, as appropriate. You can request information about the applicable safeguards by emailing info@reuther.consulting.
Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described, to comply with legal obligations or to deal with claims. We review commercial contacts after 24 months without meaningful interaction and erase or anonymise data where further retention is no longer justified. If you withdraw marketing consent, we stop using your data for that purpose. Applications are also subject to the retention criteria set out in the relevant section above.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability where applicable, or withdraw marketing consent without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing, by emailing info@reuther.consulting. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Cookies and anti-spam protection
We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms against automated submissions. According to Google's documentation, reCAPTCHA uses the technical _GRECAPTCHA cookie for risk analysis and abuse prevention. Its purpose is security, not personalised advertising.
Strictly necessary security cookies do not in themselves require prior consent. If non-exempt technologies are introduced, the relevant information and consent controls are provided. This description of the service does not replace a technical cookie check.
